Don Pisang is a store that sells all sorts of banana-based snacks. Inspired by The Godfather, the idea is to make Don Pisang the head of the banana syndicate. The branding experiments with retro shop signage and old food truck influences in its typography and bold illustrations, creating a distinctive and authentic image. As mentioned before, the typography on the logo is inspired by 80s neon signage. A “banana-gun” illustration is then incorporated into the logo, expressing the syndicate concept further. Added to that is the application of playful mafia-influenced illustrations throughout the collaterals.
