Myris is a creative community concerned with representing extensions of the human experience through the senses. It is the parent company of a number of subsidiaries that covers a wide range of disciplines, from music, fashion, interiors, to film and architecture. Myris is inspired by nature and the Japanese philosophy of acceptance of transience and imperfection: Wabi-Sabi. Based on this philosophy, we conceptualised Myris’ brand identity and art direction from the start. To showcase an identity that highly regards beauty in imperfections, we designed the name cards in 4 different sizes with a torn-apart look at the top. Once they’re stacked together, it mimics the landscape of a mountain.
